Who We Work With
SHEU was established as the Schools Health Education Unit in 1977, but we have done so much survey work with young people that either isn't in schools, or isn't in health education, that we now refer to ourselves as SHEU.
Most of our early young people survey work was done in collaboration with Local Education Authorities, then the old Health Authorities were our major customers, but now we work with a whole range of agencies from the public and private sectors, including:
and others who would like our assistance with some part of the research process.

Evidence from our young people surveys has been used in several Joint Area Reviews.
