There are two key aspects to the launch of the project:
  • Raising Awareness
  • Engaging children
Raising the profile of the project for children in school can be maintained through initial assemblies, letters and activities to involve parents and then with the aid of newsletters to advertise forthcoming events and to report on activities already happening.

It is useful to attach the launch of the project in a school with a particular event so that the message from an initial assembly or the questionnaire activity is followed up quickly to bring the project alive for youngsters.
