SHEU are working with a number of local authorities on our 'Every Child Matters' survey. This is a survey of parents, children and young people from every school in the county.
The survey has six key areas:
Being Healthy
Staying Safe
Enjoying and Achieving
Economic Well-Being
Inclusion
Making a Positive Contribution
The questionnaire is four pages with a simple tick-box design that can be readily completed by everyone.
We do recommend that a teacher read aloud through the survey with primary pupils and comment if appropriate to clarify the meaning of the questions.
Each school receives a set of tables and a comparative report which shows their profile of results in the context of other schools in the area.

We can also create a new consultation exercise to satisfy your own particular needs, if you suggest some topics that you want to ask about, we can do the rest.
Please contact me directly if you are interested learning more about what we can do for your school.
P.S. We also offer a data processing service: just send us your completed questionnaires and we will return results to you in a format that suits your requirements.
