Surveys
The Questionnaire and the Survey Service

The Questionnaire
The Health-Related Behaviour Questionnaire (HRBQ) was first developed in 1976 for use in secondary schools and adapted for use in primary schools in 1988. The HRBQ provides baseline data to identify priorities for health education planning, assessments and intervention programmes. Teachers and the medical professions have shaped the content of the HRBQ to reflect the needs of the users. We also support joint primary/secondary Pyramid surveys.

Why choose the HRBQ?
  • The leading valid standardised instrument
  • Tested and developed over 25 years
  • Reliable data from young people in your community
  • Survey support services help identify priorities
  • Experience based on over 5,000 UK school surveys
  • Successfully completed by over 650,000 pupils
The questionnaire contains a variety of topics relevant to the National Healthy School Scheme themes. View (804kb pdf)
