Welcome to the homepage of the journal 'Trends: Young People in the UK and their Health Related Behaviour'.

The journal is aimed at an international readership who are concerned with the healthy development of young people. Each issue describes the attitudes and experiences of young people in the UK. Drawn from over twenty years of unique data the journal charts trends, in the responses from 10-15 years olds, across a range of topics.

The first issue shows trends, from 1983, in attitudes to and experience of leisure activities (example issue 254kb pdf). Further issues will explore sex and relationships, health and safety, food choices and weight control, alcohol, smoking, illegal drugs, emotional health and well-being, and physical activity.

Access to the journal is by a yearly subscription. Individual subscribers receive pdf files of three issues in 2006 and also receive up to five of the ten chapters as pdf files from the latest 'Young People' report.
